In the past few years I’ve worked in design for
e-commerce and education. I offer a broad range of visual skills accompanied with a critical perspective that ensures the project sings with clarity, intention and warmth. My work is deeply integrated with supporting strong business direction that inspires customer loyalty and builds community.
I’m a UK to US transplant based in the PNW. I jumped the pond to study a masters in Applied Craft + Design in 2016. I immersed myself in the DIY creative culture of Portland Or, and am continually inspired by this corner of the world.

APPROACH
My design philosophy revolves around building harmonious relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and visual experimentation. Be it client or colleague.
‘THOUGHTFUL PLAY’ - Good design sits
in a tension between intention and the freedom of play. Between the serious and the rebellious. Every day is a practice in curiosity, generosity and sharing good humor in the work. A playful mindset also makes room for failure, an openness to experiment and embrace risk.
‘MAKE LEARNING EASY’ - My background
in teaching taught me that everyone experiences barriers to understanding, and feelings of inadequacy. Most consumers / audiences experience something similar. As
a designer, it is my job to invite, to welcome,
to inspire, to streamline, to identify the obstacles, point out the growth, and to above all instill self belief and joy.
‘GET IT DONE TOGETHER’ - I enjoy problem solving, digging into something that challenges my comfort zone. I also love working in a team where mutual trust delivers surprising insight. I’ve worked closely with specialists in marketing and management, helping formulate business decisions and brand strategy.
‘ANYTHING ELSE?’ - Sometimes it’s the things on the periphery that inspires the work. I’m an apparel obsessive, a home sewist, a lover of lists, color enthusiast, a ‘not bad’ photographer, a pattern person, a terrible rock climber, a slightly better hiker, a pooch-mom, a believer in challenging climate change and social inequality, and I joined a summer amateur softball team last year!
